There is a time to be busy and a time to REST

On Sunday, January 20, my mom and I departed for our trip to Haiti to meet my son!  Along the way we had a mini vacation planned.  We stayed 2 nights at my uncles in Florida and it was WONDERFUL!  There is something about getting away from home and being somewhere before you get to where you are going.

Ready for our trip!!!  I was SOOOO excited they had Garrett's popcorn in the Chicago airport (it just wasn't warm, so not as good as Michigan Avenue, but still good!)

By going to Florida, I could stop cleaning, packing, unpacking, cleaning more, repeating this cycle and just doing things to stay busy.

Upon getting to Florida, we were able to enjoy two nights and more than a full day with my uncle.  It was beautiful weather to swim, hot tub, walk, and read in!  We had so much fun!  We had to go to Target, of course, which is our favorite thing to do at home :-)  I am more than grateful for this time at his house!!!!  Thank you so much Uncle John!!!  My mind was able to rest!  My body was able to relax!  I did not have to keep doing things around my home!  I could sit and think and dream about meeting my little boy.  It was GREAT!!!!!!!!!
